Instructor: Kate Bissinger
Kate Bissinger is passionate about helping individuals invest in their vocal health and performance. With a strong foundation in vocal technique and performance, Kate graduated from West Virginia University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. During her studies, she was awarded a music scholarship and had the privilege of studying under WVU’s Artist-in-Residence, Augusto Paglialungo. In 2013, Kate furthered her expertise by completing all three levels of Somatic Voicework℠, The LoVetri Method, at the Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University.
Kate has been singing for 30 years and, throughout her career, has performed across more than 20 states and in Canada as a soloist, ensemble member, and dancer with an international touring group. Her passion for vocal coaching has led her to guide hundreds of performers toward achieving their goals and maintaining vocal and emotional health. Over the past 15 years, Kate has dedicated herself to fostering growth in her students, helping them find a voice they love!
In addition to coaching, Kate continues to actively perform in a range of styles, from current pop to classical music, and occasionally Anglican chant. Kate is excited to continue sharing her knowledge and passion for vocal health and performance and looks forward to helping others on their journey to vocal wellness.
