This clever and charming adaptation of the classic fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty is a wild, comic romp. Despite warnings from her hysterical, hyper mother, Briar Rose touches the thorns of some roses given to her by that devious thirteenth fairy. Consequently, she and the rest of the royal family fall asleep for 100 years under the evil fairy’s curse. A hilarious parade of doomed princes fail again and again in the hissing, growling briar bushes that protect the palace where the royal family sleeps. All these royal efforts are futile until a prince shows up with his side-splittingly funny bodyguard, the two-headed troll. (This production is a play, not a musical)
Wrap up the season with our Spring Showcase. Enjoy performances from our classes followed by a one act play (Briar Rose: The Tale of Sleeping Beauty. Details coming soon.

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and more of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical KIDS, a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child, who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks."
