Owner, Director, Dance Instructor of Revive: 

From the moment Katrina could express herself, she had boundless energy and a love of music. She had her first dance class at 2 1/2 and it was love at first tutu. She continued to pursue dance, training at various Pre-Professional studios which provided her an array of teachers and mentors in many styles of dance. During her summers she trained at the Nashville Ballet and at the Point Park International Summer Dance Program. She studied Dance Performance and Dance Education with a concentration in Ballet and Jazz at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. During this time she had the opportunity to teach youth dance classes and choreograph musicals at the Pennridge Middle Schools. There she discovered her passion for education and theatre. 

She recently Co Directed her 15th production, Shrek the Musical, Jr at Pennridge North. She also serves as the Dance Instructor and Program Director for the Pennridge Summer Musical Theatre Camp Program. She has worked with children of varying ages and abilities. She studied in the Early Childhood Nursery School Program at Pennridge, has lead Pre School Music/Creative Movement classes, worked at residential summer camp programs and continues to work as a nanny. 

Katrina is passionate about community outreach and believes there is a place for everyone in the arts. In the future she hopes to establish an inclusive performing arts program where students with physical and developmental disabilities can experience the joy and benefits of the arts. 


Mrs. Joyce Shellenberger has spent most of her life being all about kids as a teacher, theatre director, camp program director, and kids & family ministry director with special focus on drama, vocal, dance, teaching, and tech teams. A graduate of Messiah University in Elementary Education with a concentration in Music, her teaching experience includes 5th grade, Gifted, and Drama both stateside and overseas. 

Joyce has directed close to 70 musicals and plays. She has taken student casts to regional play competitions at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope PA and has served as an adjudicator at the PA State Thespian Conference for several years. In 2014 she directed a production of Beauty and the Beast Jr that was selected to perform at the PA State Thespian Conference. 

She currently directs the Drama Program at Pennridge North Middle School as well as the Pennridge Summer Musical Theatre Camp Program. Joyce loves seeing kids grow their performing skills while also discovering all the ways they can grow in confidence, kindness, leadership, and in encouraging community with others both on stage and off.
